How to build a strong EB-1A profile
Based on conversations with people who have built strong EB-1A profiles.
About me:
My name is Jason and I work with top immigration lawyers on educational resources related EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, and O-1. Most of the profile-building insights I share in this newsletter come from my work with these lawyers.
Updates to the Resources:
Scheduled an EB-1A profile-building questions workshop for next Wednesday at 8:30 PM EST (here’s the signup form for the workshop if you’re interested: https://forms.gle/ZyWwvM9xd2SoCcMo6).
Also added a few more SWE-related opportunities to the profile-building opportunities database.
As a paid subscriber to this newsletter, you get access to:
My EB-1A/EB-2 NIW/O-1 profile-building opportunities database (270+ opportunities so far, updated every 2-3 days). Once you become a paid subscriber, I will share this spreadsheet with you.
Video resources (recorded question and answer-style videos with EB-1A recipients and also resume review videos).
My guides to EB-1A and EB-2 NIW profile-building.
My reviews of AAO decisions (which go into USCIS’s reasoning for denying an EB-1A/O-1 petition). I review both EB-1A and O-1 decisions.
My contacts database (these are universities, event organizers, and people involved in relevant organizations that I have spoken to, you can mention my name if you decide to reach out to them).

Once you become a paid subscriber, I will share all of the above resources with you via Google Drive (links below).
I’ve seen several strong EB-1A profiles up close.
A lot of them:
Present a compelling narrative.
Do not look unnatural (nothing sticks out).
Show sustained acclaim and progression.
Are backed by strong references.
Include elements of prestige.
Here’s what you should be doing to build a strong EB-1A profile based on what the people behind these profiles did to build strong profiles.
